hey all. glad to see PE is back in action. well i grabbed the v1.4 full install, as well as the "release candidate 9 update", but when i try to join one of the servers, i always get the same message "Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the server's." i have tried joining servers with just 1.4 and no release candidate, and with the release candidate, and i get the same message, each time, on every server. i am able to start my own games fine on the LAN, but i cant join any games over steam. any suggestions? btw, i posted this twice, cuz i wasnt sure which forum i should post it on.

hi fayde With pe uptated to rc9 you should be able to join this server: 213.239.195.152:27016 it was updated about 1h ago.

hey spin. thanks for the info. actually, i checked my updates and i was using RC8. so i got RC9 and now im in business. thanks for your help. hope some more people will be playing soon. btw, are the 2 servers that are up, bots only? cuz one always has 6 players, and the IP for the other one u gave me, always seems to have 1 player...

hehe yes, the other server tries to reconstruct the crash bug but failed until now (206h uptime, before it crashed at 20-30h) so I consider the bug fixed and it will be shut down before the release. The 6 players are bots btw.

The eXtreme-players mirror for the full version was linked to the update, probably that was the problem...
