Hi. It's Viking, the guy that writes taht incredibly long story. yeah yeah, I'll include you, get in the line.
The reason that I made this post is to give you a nice start to making a story. It's incredible how many stories improve, just by including a few things. I'll tell you some of them.

Firstly... Let's do a little brainstorming. What do you want to write about? Since this is a zombie forum, it should have at least a vague connection to zombies. And don't start writing at once, I've seen way too much of this

"John just woke up by gunshots outside. He looked out. A lot of people were dead. Somebody knocked on the door, it was his friend! He opened, but then his friend attacked him! He found a knife and killed him."

Originality is gold. Therefore, think for a while, what's your cahracter(s) names, jobs, who are their friends? Do they have a family?

Ok, you have an idea. Now start writing, it should come pretty easy. When you've thought a few pages ahead already, you can start filling it out, thickening it, while writing. Adjectives are the spice of a story, and should be used a lot. not just "The house stood in front of him", what if you try "The large house was ahead of him. It was high, but thin, like a grim, and dark, giant tooth..."

Also, how about some commas? Writing all of your story in one sentence is no. Often you can make three tiny sentences into one, making the whole of it more floating, with a few commas. Often, when describing, you'd use commas for seaprating it all.

Now let's say your first small part is done, around 5 sentences. It is all connected, maybe John has just reached a large storage facility and is lookiong around. Now you want to describe something new that's happening, a zombie bursts in! Then you need some space to separate it. You can see I've separated a lot here, separating each tip a little. I use double space. This is much easier for the eyes, I've seen many people denying to read anything that's crammed together for more than ten sentences.

So, to sum up:
1: Think, then write.

2: Fill as you write.

3: Sprinkle adjectives over it.

4: Separate unrelated sentences, gather related ones with commas.

5: Use space.

If anyone feels helped by this, let me know. Also, if anyone else has tips, tell me and I'll edit in.
