Is this mod dead? I downloaded it and as far as I can see theres no one playing? Is there any specific servers you know of that people play. This seems like and interesting mod. I would very much like to play.

It was popular in onlinemags and gamemagazines. But it never had that many players, I think around 80 players at the beginning?

i think it has had the same problem as the games homeworld and homeworld 2

good games, the press liked them... but the gamers never caught on for some weird kinda reason.

i dont know if PE was really ment as a serious mod with alot of features... but if it was, its ironic that a serious mod fails, and a funmod like brainbread is immensely succesfull.

Yes, PE was a serious project, a interesting complicated story, a lot more work it's really weird how it turned out with BB and PE

i personally thought PE had a great atmosphere and was original but for some odd reason it didn't really attract that many players...

...yes... that was a lot of coming down... it has been played, but after a year there were no players left... it was our first mod, but a real quality one as you can see. Most ppl complained about the gameplay which has been optimized with the newest patch... but for some reasen PE never attracted more players.

it was advertised quite a bit i believe, maybe not enough, who knows...its hard to get it back alive since ppl are prolly not interested in it anymore since the first beta was already released a while ago and not as eager to try it out...
