Ok so i don't know if the Moderators will have their wicked way with this topic but i might aswell let loose some ideas i had for when BB Source is in the works.

Now we all know about what will definately be praised in this mod, for example ;

- A better improvement to AI for friendly and enemy NPC's ( zombies and such )
- Ragdoll death physics and maybe a new improved GORE system ( So maybe when you blow a zombie away half its torso will still be standing )
- New items and weapons ( obviously )
- New enemies ( fast zombie would be scary in numbers )

Now for the idea of the Combine could be some sort of hazmat soldier ( With its gasmask face ) to replace the military soldiers in BB1. Being armed with the standard SMG and shotgun or whatever they want to fit them with. As for the tanks and blackhawks, the HL2 Helicopter would greatly fill in for the blackhawk.

The Combine APC could be remodeled as a Humvee and use it's machine gun to mow down zombies and to replace the tank.

Some rebels (Citizens from HL2) can be of aid to you in completing an objective such as giving you some support fire, healing you with medkits or anyother way.

I don't know about the rest or how they would fit in to BB Source, but thats all i can think of so far ...

I like those ideas. Especially the humvee with a mounted machine gun on top of it, as well as the citizens being able to help you. And if you're playing by yourself on a server, you may want to have some citizens there to help you so you aren't so lonely. If you come up with anymore ideas, post them to us.

Think about it this is a mod set in present day. Why would the combine and there helicopters be there fighting zombies? It would be much better just to model a new black hawk for source along with new improved marine models. Anyway the devs arnt gonna make a bb source, but there is a couple of forum dwellers who are making it. Check there site out http://www.freewebs.com/darknessglams/

Why techno? Y not disco source? Techno is sooooo overated, disco is more classic.
