Here is what we have came up with, let us know what you would like out of this list to see, or would like to see that isn't on the list that is melee  - dildo cricket bat croque bat fists body limb hammer sledge hammer meat cleaver machete toaster book for slapping lead pipe screw driver wrench butcher knife brick shovel pitch fork scythe hedge clippers weed wacker scissors pen pencil |

And for the dildo Sniper wanted to model it of his own personal dildo. It can do quite alot of damage! |

It did, I couldnt sit right for a week afterwards. Oh and Pete wanted to use his mothers dildo, but Snipers out did it.  |

We thought about those, but the conclusion was that...."what good would those do, than be just another piece to our scene in the environment. When they really wont do "that" much damage". |

| Yup to some extent on that particular melee weapon we are talking. The Axe will be enormously fixed to where it's actually a "Axe" not a "Stick". Well that's how I percieved it in damage terms. So yes, if you hit them a couple times with it, sure. But something like a baseball bat or of that nature. It will obviously take more due to the fact it's a blunted object, and nothing on it has anything worth thrashing through with force.  |

The only items I'm not for is the dildo (  ), brick, pencil and pen. The others are cool.But one has to have favorites... Chainsaw, shovel, limbs machete and crowbar rocks. |

Also of note, it's gotta have good "visual feedback" so it cant be anything small(jokes about sniper can be deflected that way  ) so stuff like pencils and knuckle dusters can be left out. Also of mention we can have more than one melee weapon, maybe three with one selected randomly at spawn. I personally think it would have to be something that would be readily available from the surrounding enviroment, so for example if we wanted dildos we could only pull that off if every map was set in Erky's house  I personally like big ass machete, meatcleaver and sledge hammer and possibly rebar. |

metal bars the put in concrete to make it stronger if im not mistaken.  how bout if you have a deagle for example you use the pistol grip as a melee fuch as holding the barrel hitting with the but of the gun (dont know what its called on the pistol) so i guess pistol whipping is what i mean. so what ever pistol you have is the melee pistol you use. |

| D.E.A.D my old mod I worked with. NMRIH which is quite obvious they go for that approach in taking every zombie attack weapon. I wouldn't be surprised if Zombie panic Source did, and if that so-called making mod "Over-run" would. |

| Sprays wouldn't affect the zombies since they are dead. Plus it looks really dumb to spray things on undead. 4x4, has that been mentioned? A little inpractical but effective. Oh, and a suitcase, for some extra lawyer style. |

I say if your using a good Graphics Engine then all most any thing can be a melee weapon like a bone from a Zombie or a Street sign to a bat now that would be cool  |

| You know what would be really cool? If you could pick up any prop in the game and be able to throw it at zombies. Not enough to kill, but just to slow them down if you need to get away fast. |

| Those long light tubes. Anyone ever seen the movie Tom Yum Goong...it's fairly new and i doubt any english speaking people here have seen it without downloading it. But these would be funny to use...however i don't know how they'd have much of an effect, they'd shatter on impact, thats about all their good for is glass spray. I don't know about this weapon, but i'm modelling one...a throwing knife..which you would also see on the movie resident evil: apocalypse. So a throwing knife would be cool...only it is ranged not melee. How about a tazer? Dunno what effect that'd have on the zombie other than making them spaz out, maybe it disables their movement for a tiny bit of time, aswell as their attack. So if you get cornered..have no weapons, you whip out your shiney black little tazer and BUZZAAP!!!, then you run like crazy. |

| First of all, throwing knifes are not that commonly found in urban area's overrun with zombies. A tazer isn't all that effective and not that common either. |

| High powered tasers eventually light people and zombies alike on fire if used on for a few minutes. Some cops and security forces of asylums and other places have these. May I also suggest a stun baton? Derived from the dead body of a Riot Cop. It'll be a simple addition since you just have to edit the current stun baton of the metrocops to fit the modern descriptions. |

The reason why the zombies are still walking is because of the monster stuck on its head. The electricity from the stun baton would fry the creature, plus the force of being hit with the stun baton would cause some damage too. |

| Electricity should still harm a zombie. If the central nervous system is fried, no amount of science can keep the thing moving. As it is "dead" it would take more, but if something is moving, it has to have at least minor brain activity. That's why you're supposed to take the zombie's heads out in almost all zombie apocalypse. Take out the brain and central nervous system, and it's over. This is all assuming of course that BrainBread is going for a more realistic feel. If not, then oh well, just give me rocket launchers and chain gun turrets and I'll be happy. |

| We also must remember zombies are rotting corpses that walk. No if you hit it hard enough with a stun stick that's already hot from electricity, it's gonna wack the flesh off the zombie easy. Pain doesn't really mean anything. It's the damage that counts when it come's to zombies. But if the zombie is fresh (just became one), then that's another story. Did anyone suggest a broken piece of wood or a stake to impale zombies with? If not, well then I did. |

... Anyway Would a machete count as a type of sword? If so, then a sword has been mentioned. In my opinion, the whole katana/sword thing is a bit overrated. Knives make more sense. |

No real Katana's are sold in shops, they're just some cheaply made copys. For a REAL Katana you'd have to pay a fucking lot. I suppose as the making process is complicated and long. |
