If any of you have played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or crysis youll understand what im talking about.
You find a gun with a grenade launcher, but u cant find ammo for it. So you click off the grenade launcher, and later you find, say, an ak-74 with ammo, and clicp it on and use it. this could be done with scopes, lasers, silencers, etc. Note- Something i noticed in shadows of chernobyl is that some weapons are "custom" meaning, say, you find an obokan assault rifle with a scope, but its a special version with a built in scope that cant be removed, this is the "sniper obokan". And some weapons (the groza-1, vintar sniper rifle) have pre built in features, like grenade launchers and scopes in their design even tho they can fill other roles. Also, maby something u could put up with like a biohazard sign so you can mark places with powerful or dangerous zombies or obstacles without having to have some kind of omniscient sense of everyones locations. But radar could be something that can be picked up as a marine or something (mini screen with a predator UAV video feed) to find ally and enemy locations when seperated.
