File Name: C14

Date and Time: March 14th, 2084 10:45 AM

Location: Somewhere in the plains of Siberia, Near the border of Mongolia

Personnel Dispatched: Mattias Jonnesson, Mikhail Orlov, Lars Nordenstam, Edgar Ovdensson, Markos Struber

Scout team 4 of the Denmark/France Coalition Army Recon Corps were dispatched to investigate reports of corpses rising from the dead. When they failed to return, several mercenaries from our company were hired to investigate and potentially remove the threat. Jonnesson and Orlov spotted a Regent Enterprises' science facility, and upon infiltration, exchanged fire with security personnel. Nordenstam, Struber, and Ovdensson used the firefight to slip in through the front door. Struber broke off and searched the corridors for the Scout Team. Struber located them, but they were all dead. The cause of death was a combination of sever lacerations (bites?) and shots to the heads. Orlov and Jonnesson eliminated the guards and made their way outside to meet up with the rest of the team. Ovdensson and Nordentam entered a facility marked Project C14.
When they entered, they found several sealed rooms and a glass room which contained a man. Upon Later Questioning, the man revealed his name to be Jurgen Smultz, a prolific Dutch scientist. After the facility was confirmed captured, Greymarch science teams were dispatched to investigate the sealed rooms and project files. Each room was a veritible House of horrors. Corpses, some of which were half-eaten, were strewn throughout. Most startling were the restrained men, each with no pulse, but all alive (and thrashing violently in their chains). One bit a scientist, Josef Magnusson. After Magnusson recieved the bite, he died. Several moments later, he arose and attacked his fellow scientists. Several were scratched and bitten before Magnusson was shot in the head. The other scientists were executed in the same manner (they begged for it). The files were all taken and the facility was destroyed.

Personal Note: This event implies that Regent Enterprises attempted to make good on their promise of a program to create an army of zombies, to be sold to the highest bidder. It is an unsettling thought, but I must say, what if there are more of these facilities?
