In your zombies section you stated that "a zombie without any arms can't do a lot of damage!".
Will a zombie be able to bite or kick instead of using his arms? If not, could you implement it? I think it would be fun to see marines getting kicked to death by a horde of hooligan zombies. Also you could make zombies fall to the ground when they're hit while performing the kick animation, because it's very hard to keep your balance while kicking, especially without arms. And when they're on the ground, they can't get up again because they don't have arms and they're too stupid and single minded to use their legs efficiently, so they'll just use their legs to move like a maggot trying to bite your feet, making a lot of squishy sounds on the way (not mentioning the blood trail).
Which brings me to my next questions:
1.Will zombies without legs crawl?
2.Is every body part calculated individually or is damage deducted from general health?
3.a. Will you be able to shoot off body parts of player-controlled zombies?
3.b. If so, will the player see what part he has lost and what effect does it have on him?
4. If a player-controlled zombie dies, will he respawn as a zombie or just go to spectator mode?
5.a. If a survivor-player reaches an escape zone, will he simply be removed from the game (going to spectator) until the next round or does he have to wait for his teammates to arrive?
5.b. If he's removed, is it possible to make him join as a marine, so he can help his teammates and doesn't have to sit around waiting for the others to escape (or die)? He would get one typical marine weapon, with limited ammo and rather inaccurate, and one melee weapon, like kick (which is already implemented in the HL1 animations, so not too much extra work), and the same speed and health as the NPC marines. He would not be able to collect other weapons,gain experience or frags and if he's killed a NPC zombie will be created and he'll have to wait 30 seconds to join again as a marine.
6. Can zombies rise again? So if you cause enough damage to their body without hitting the head, they'll die, but after a few seconds they'll rise again unless you removed the head while they were dead.
7. Is there a method to discourage teamkilling? Like making teamkillers start as zombies without a weapon at the start of the next round?

I have to mention again, that it's a small funmod. What you're asking for is a fully qualified commercial zombieshooter. You won't even be able to shoot their legs off as HL limits the parts we can make.
1. no
2. except for the head it's general health
3. no
4. either respawn as zombie or as human (after he killed enough players/marines or was zombie long enough)
5. He'll go spectator and can chose to go back in as a zombie to make it harder for the others
6. dead zombies stay dead
7. FF ist deactivated by default. I don't think it would make much sense to activate it
Thanks for the suggestions. Due to the lack of time we won't be able to implement additional features so we'll just focus on killing bugs and improving the gameplay.

Carefull with 7.
I remember svencoop servers where ff was deactivated.
Players or even clans were blocking small passages and
made it impossible for the others to play on cause they
couldnt be removed from where they were standing.

IMO its the best to keep ff activated and make it so that
you take the same damage that you cause on others.
That way tking will be pain in the ass but still possible

About FF: Is it only deactivated for players or for friendly NPC's also?

I think servers with ff on are going to be harder: if a friend is surrounded by zombies you can't just shoot into the bunch of dudes without also killing your friend. And this situation happens quite often smile.gif I think I might like servers with ff on.

A server shouldn't have a problem with this, if admins are doing a good job. Servers that have good admins (as in there is one in there almost all of the time) won't have to worry about players blocking the door ways. They will just ban them. Not really a big problem.

When i have played svencoop,no one hasnt been a fucktard.
No one havent ever blocked anyone. Well maybe once or two tongue.gif
FF off will not be a problem
