This is probably one of the most FRUSTRATING mapper problem i've hit in the past 24 hours.

Story
------

I decide to add some marines onto my upcomming map to give the police extra support in blowing away the mutated hoard. I place the entity pick the weapon, hours later I save and compile.

Anxiously I type in the map run code into the console, it loads within a few seconds and all is playing well, the dead grunt I placed next to the SWAT van is there, but wait... Somethings missing...

Where are his chirpy comrades?... The cops are alive and kickin, but the marines are no-where to be found.

I go back into hammer to make extra SURE I placed the entities... They are where I left them.

I've been fiddling with it for hours and cant figure out whats going on.

Anyone know what could be wrong?.

If a zombie or barney is too close, they won't spawn in.
