maybe you should be advertising for the next patch of public enemy for like a week on different gaming websites and then release the patch.
And if you want people to download the mod take off that very annoying

Since the release of the Public Enemy Beta 1.2 much things changed inside the (core-)team. Because of this we would like to tell you about or plans for the future and also inform you how the development of Public Enemy will go on.

Last sunday MadMaxFMM, Spin, Scotty and I had a long discussion over our general plans, but most of all over our plans in the game design business.

We've decided in this discussion, that we will further on Public Enemy, but we will reduce the development strongly. We will release bugfixes and probably we will also implement new maps and features - but more unfortunately not. The main reason for this decision was, that only a few players play it although we got very good feedback. In addition we don't think that Public Enemy will be more popular than it is now, also therefore not, that the aging HL1-Engine soon will be replaced by the HL2-Engine.

Likewise we discussed our next project at this meeting - But in addition we will express ourselves about this later.

If u ask people that news update is really annoying and it will make people think the mod is not worth downloading.

Take it off if u want but its still annoying
