Who invented zombies was it a writer or something was just curious...

??? i dont get it who actually invented the characters in films or in books that were flesh eating zombies???

voodoo myths spoke of zombies but they were more like servants. Then from their came old movies that bean to sprout out on the theaters to scare people. But bsaically the Term Zombie coems from Voodoo.

Zombies are actually the result of puffer-fish poison. In some countries where Voodoo is practiced, puffer-fish poison is used to bring a subject to near death, their vital signs decreasing to almost nothing. As for the fictional zombies, Night of the Living Dead is the first movie that I can think of where they were created. Most likely the idea came from old pulp fiction novellas.

Well now i like the zombies now, since, they bring thriller to the zombie genres, and its just so much more interesting.
I still like to kill zombies and destroy their heads. its FUN

Yeah, that movie was pretty cool. And it was the first time i saw running zombies.
And they infect you kinda differently too. Its unique O_O

Yeah. Unique. I also like Shaun of the Dead. Scared me when they ran over someone and he said if he was alright and he twisted his head to Shaun. That made me so scared that i locked everything up. Good thing my whole family was inside due to family meeting.

Anyways, I cant stand to see DOTD and Resident Evil.

iliketoblowzombiesheadsoff 28 days later was not "zombies" they were the infected just thought id point this out its a common mistake.

I have to laugh everytime when they use the chainsaw against the zombies on the truck :>
Resident Evil is kinda cool too, but the movie lives more from the atmosphere than from the action, i think.
