Recruit your team here!, BB:S is dead...but it will rise again...

Just another Survivor Group: Members Posts: 20 Joined: February 17, 2008	Alright...BB:S may be dead but we can start anew!... Yes I am sad but will I just standhere? NO! If you are a good team person who can listen to thoughts and has a ebsite with good coding knowledge. I plan to help BB:S by trying to get a team to start a new one without the same name but is made for BB:S and is like BB:S with more features. I expect the new team to be able to focus on gameplay,coding,mapping and textures (If they carry forward my idea of House of the Dead maps then you know what I mean ) I am hoping that it might be HotD themed but I am happy with any other themes. Remember...if you want to help them,then just grab a coding book and learn until you can join a team . -------------------- I am Rogan, zombies! blasts a zombie and you are pathetic wretch's blasts 5 zombies and i wi- "Rogan help me!" blasts the zombies off and then blasts a demon out of sight as i was saying...and i will make you remember me even if i have to blast you head open and shove it in your stomach.

NO!

Just another Survivor Group: Members Posts: 21 Joined: December 11, 2004	Ok, bear in mind I have no understanding of how to mod or program.... But can I suggest that you don't set your sights too high? Just start out more or less copying BB into Source. Don't worry about the GORE ™ effects or the level system at first. Just get the basic game-play sorted first then add in the extras. A couple of decent maps, a handful of zombies, a few guns, maybe a few crates to build barricades with and the Source engine to make it all look pretty would be wonderful! Good luck on your quest. BB is such a great game it deserves to look nicer.

I just looked at Z-Day, and it looks quite promising.

To be on topic, I agree with DancingFred. It might be better at this point to simply port the old BB into Source. Release a basic beta like that, and THEN start adding in the other layers.

It may not be out yet, but from what they've released (videos and screen shots), it looks like it'd be great for a good old zombie game. Don't know about AI zombies though... I guess that'd be a glaring "issue" right now.. . -------------------- Still mapping away!!
