For what portable device? Phone?

The only Minecraft-related app I saw on my iPhone was something about managing your items on Minecraft. Costs 99 cents. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

Minecraft Pocket Edition is a mobile version of Minecraft.

Right now it's only available for phones using Android OS, but they intend to release it on iOS as well.

It's very basic right now. It's like Creative mode, essentially. No health, no mobs, just blocks.

Most of the fun for me in Minecraft is the survival part. The building part comes after for me. So the pocket edition would be eh for me.

I thought the same thing, but aside from the fact that the building is a good time killer when I'm not at home, they're going to be adding Survival, mobs, day and night, Nether, tools, etc. They just haven't yet.

Eh. I don't travel much, and anywhere I go can I always bring my laptop, and that plays minecraft plenty fine lol. So, I guess whatever works.

I play it when I'm waiting for stuff or just doing nothing.

Plus I haven't actually bought Minecraft for my PC yet.

EDIT:

I just bought Minecraft for my PC.
