An idea of a thread that I just came up with, if each person on the Forum adds their opinions of must see movies. Each post can only contain 1 movie, however a user can post many movies after another has been mentioned.

I'll start: The Matrix.

Great idea Mick.
I watched the Matrix a while ago with a much much better understanding of it this time, and man it was a great idea of that movie's time. If you take time to understand the plot it's not so mind-fucking but actually smart. I don't know about the next two movies, though.

I don't really have a lot of movies in mind, so I'm going to suggest the first thing that came up on my head: Scott Pilgrim versus the World.

The Matrix was brilliant. An awesome concept that was very well-developed. The next two Matrix films, however...best I don't complete that sentence.

And Scott Pilgrim, MAN! What a film! I hate Michael Cera with a passion (I can't explain it, I just hate his characters and acting), but it was still an awesome film, the cast were pretty damn good (even Michael fucking Cera), and the soundtrack was amazing.

I put forward a film I recently watched and enjoyed a lot - The Book of Eli.

I never saw that film, but it's one of those films that I wanna save for later. smile.gif I heard it was good... post-apocalyptic stuff and sheriff glasses are always cool.

So who here has seen the Expendables?

YES! AWESOME! Well, okay, not the most amazing film in terms of story or dialogue, but DAMN! Most of the action hero greats, all in one film, and they STILL got it!

Yeah, the other aspects of the movie are not the best in the world.... as I only watched it for the action. And whatdya know, Stallone delivered. Statham delivered. Steve Austin did great. It was a great action-y movie overall....
Old people blowing stuff up... heheh, that's becoming common again. If you notice Red, then yeah.

So... what other movie...
What about DOOM the movie? It popped up on top of my head...

The American Pie films - and I mean all of them, because they're fucking hilarious.

If you haven't watched any of them yet, you're missing out major.

^Seeing Ads all over the web.... I've been wanting to see it since I saw the trailer. Looks like it's gonna blow my mind.

Like how Watchmen kinda blew my mind.... I'm not really into those types of movies but the cinematography and effects were a great real-life adaption of comics.... amazing is all I can say.
