My conclusion after completing it (although that only took a day on Normal and I do plan on playing it through on Expert)

The campaign is good 8/10

The play online is also very good 9/10.

Right i love shooting zombies, i love shooting zombies dead, but for some reason i just didnt like l4d. Its weird i thought id love it but it didnt entertain me enough

Although I've seen many many people hate the new campaign, I personally think it was good too. Everything else about the game is great. The sequel gave life and soul to the dark, gloomy and monotone atmosphere of L4D1. The new characters are pretty cool too, and the new weapons and stuff add more flare and excitement to the game. The new enemies make the game more challenging than usual.

However, the game gets old quite quickly especially if you have nobody else around you to enjoy it. I personally stopped playing the game at times and would come back to play it again. It's a fun game indeed, but yeah... it doesn't stay on you for a while.

It was OK to me, nothing outrageous, but it was something to look forward to as an update for L4D2. I think it was more intended toward L4D1 fans.

I bet they were rushed into doing this single campaign... it was much too short. I think this gained more haters eversince the Crash Course DLC.

But, like Crash Course, I think they mainly focused more on making this stage difficuilt and designing it as a versus map. You'll be sure to fight at least one witch and encounter tanks in each map.
