Go into the console and type "sv_lan 1" and enter it. This should enable LAN on your server.

Is it the same steam account running the server as wanting to play? If so, you need to connect by adding it to your favorites under your router IP.

Your router has an IP, however, your entire network has a specific IP which was given to you by your ISP. For example, it could be 67.54.109.234 (just a random number I came up with). However, every computer beyond your router is given a private IP. These IP's could range from 192.168.2.101, to 192.168.2.199. You should find out what the IP of the computer running the server is, as a private IP, and then connect to it in the server browser of brainbread. Find this out by going into the control pannel, Network and Internet Connections, and then under that go under "or pick a Control Panel icon" and click on Network connections. Under network connections right click on "Local area connection", go to properties, then click on "Internet Protocol", click properties on that, and then look at the IP beside "IP address:". I don't think you need your router IP, however...

Yeah, ok, thats pretty much standard. What you want to do is you want to designate an IP for every computer on your network. What router do you have?
