This is my first entry in this notebook I recently bought... and i guess I'll introduce myself. My name is John Wendel I work at Heaven's Gate mall, I'm a security guard. It was just another average day in this mall, nobody got in trouble and nobody got hurt. We were going to close early today, because they'll remodel some stuff. Mike(my close friend in the mall) and I went to go smoke the whole time... we didnt know what to do. Well, I guess I'll end my entry now. See ya.

Today wasnt so normal, because I caught someone shoplifting near a clothes store. He had a huge jacket, and he was sweating when I came near him. I asked him why he had a big jacket, and he took off. I chased after him, but Mike and Matt got him handcuffed. We unloaded his jacket, and we found a bunch of soap. I wonder why he needed so much. It wasnt so special but he still got arrested.
I heard he'll stay in prison for 9 months or so.

Today started to get unusual, because I saw a person biting somebody at the arcade corner... there was alot of blood that stained the wall, and people were huddling near the incident. I checked it out, and it appears that the biting person killed the victim. He attempted to snatch another victim, but I caught him and handcuffed his ass. He was struggling to break the cuffs and trying to bite me, but he didnt get to. His eyes were plain white, pretty unusual huh? What a weirdo.. probably he escaped the mental hospital or something.

Damn, this is getting more bizzare. There were about 20 people biting other people today, and we had to call the cops. They didnt come so quickly, so even more people got harmed. We had to close early today. They're starting to act like some zombies. I think they are! This is just weird. I guess I'll go get a gun, just to get ready.

This is definetly freaking me out now. The mall was closed, so I decided not to go to work. And it looks pretty dangerous outside. Some freaks are chasing my neighbors right now too. I guess I'll have to pack up and meet up with Mike and Matt if I can. I got my guns, a shotgun and handgun, and a bagfull of ammo. I guess I'll carry my notebook with me too.
Oh great, now someone's banging on my door. Fuck. I gotta take the backdoor to my garage. Time to go.
