I only get a message and it says "Valve validation rejected" or something like that

jupp it's cracked but i can play cs1.6 cz1.2 sven coop3.0 ........... then why cant i play brainbread?!

I'l digg my way to hell later because i had a legal copy of H-L1 but i lost the disc and the fucking cd-key. So can i get some help now!?

My only suggestion is to search a lil bit for that cd-key (have you written it anywhere etc), eventually getting yourself a new halflife. They are real cheap, 10 bucks tops. Always keep cdkeys in a safe place.
Vikin hot tip: write all your cdkeys down in a book you keep close to your pc.
