I find the flame thrower really lags games and isnt really that effective,
i thought maby it would be a good idea for next release to perhaps change it a little, I reackon the model itself is great so i dont want it replaced but maby instead of a continuing stream and maby change to something like a flaming ball of of rock which makes a small explosion and lights up any thing around it, sort of like a flare gun...

flamethrower is veryeffective if used CORRECTLY, it was designed to be used against large groups of zombies that are close together. You can rack up a console full of kills before someone else gets one.

Naw, it doesn't lag. But they should make the flamer more stronger. Because it's hecka weak. Or maybe it's because i'm pointing it at the zombie's bodies?....

Nope it lags the server. The most usefull map for the flamer is gunzone happy.gif

the flamethrower is great. evrything is actually great. its just newbies(not in a bad way) noobs and zombogeeks that complain.

but still if the game dont shape up no one is going to play it. but hell. its a great game.

i know its a great gun, but it does really lag, i just thought it would be cool if instead of a continues stream it would be cool and would reduce lag if it shot a fire ball or something that had a moletov cocktail effect when it hit the target.

Well, I do get lag from it, but only for the first time the flamethrower is used on a map. The lag happens for about five seconds, then doesn't happen anymore. It's not that big of a deal.

meh, just reckon it would look much better then the flame sprite itself not that they can improve the flames, i just thought it would look better. it does lag whenever someone uses the flame thrower but only when they first pull the trigger

you can change that yourself by changing the values in brainbread\partsys\flame.cfg
