Well what did you install it into? -half life? -counter-strike? -condition zero? if you installed it into half life it shouldnt have any probs if you installed it into counter-strike then you should change the target in properties to cstrike.exe instead of hl.exe if you installed it into condition zero then do the same as above but change it to czero.exe

It does the same for me I've tried everything to get it to work but it still says it can't find hl.exe. I've changed the target to the same as what my hl2 shortcut uses but that just opens up steam. The only thing i can think of is that my hl.exe has disapeared, coz i can't find it, but hl2 still works Oops, ive just relised this is an hl mod, not an hl2 mod, silly me. You should realy make a new one that uses the source engine.

this happens to me as well and it is on the half-life folder and it still does not work. is there anyway you can run me through exactly what i should do starting with the download? plz.
