Planeshift was meant to be a fully linux mmorpg with a port to windows, but it was 'sposed to be the first for linux.
I knew that without looking.  -------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

I for one,will purchase it,will their be a monthly fee like most MMORPGS?,even if their is,I probably will,Ironoak is known for its quality

1. For an MMORPG, it's too risky for them, specially with huge companies rolling out MMORPG's.
2. First, they need to buy a couple of servers (huge servers) and pay to keep them running, if no one plays, they're screwed. --------------------  |

Any info about the custom map editor? I primarily use QuArk, which supports the Crystal Space engine, but would be willing to learn how to use a different editor.

They can design the game and then license or sell it to a major company like SOE or something and have them run the servers... --------------------  |
