and I know it's rude and irritating to ask for a release date, that's why I'm keeping it approximate, I won't hold you to it, and you don't even have to answer, so there's absolutely NO need to get pissed off.
What quarter of this year would you say the release is in? |

We honestly don't know when it'll be out. We work on this mod during our spare time, after most of us have finished work or university/college. This means that we have a limited amount of time to work on the mod, in addition we all have personal issues to deal with, family, friends, girlfriends (some of us have extremely understanding girlfriends though so we never complain, at least not in a public forum where they can read about us doing it
 ) so that eats up more of our free time.Basically we don't all work at the same rate, nor can each of us do the same amount of work on a weekly or monthly basis. So we can't plan for a release date because we don't know how quickly we can get the outstanding work done. More capable or qualified people on the team means the work gets done faster, unfortunately our team is undermanned in everything other than the map making dept. So the reason we can't give a release date is because we if we did give you a date it would be a lie! -------------------- ...and they will show you how, to make the future look a bit victorian aged and how to spread your geekness, proudly, not ashamed...

hey thanks for the respect man, I have to say this forum gave a much warmer welcome than the nmrih forums did. I guess they're just exasperated, waiting for a mod that will never release. I really just made an account here to ask for a christmas update (same for NMRIH, and I guess it worked there too, despite not being answered very warmly at first. I regular more at the zm forums btw, have done so for a few years, so you know where I am if you need me, and rest assured I will most definitely post there to advertise BBS when it's released. |
