Come on we need a level where you get to a copter and fly around fragging zombies with a Vulcan gun. Maybe some transport ships.

The source engine supports vehicles/flying shit lets use the power happy.gif.

Also more weapons:
S@W 50 cal
FN Scar
USAS-12
Spectre m4 = zomg DIE ZOMBIES DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, as long as the Vulcans on the Helis had a Large amount of ammo but still limited

Like 10000 (ten thousand) bullets biggrin.gif

Also, if they were to do this, please make it stronger than the vulcan on BB's Blackhawk cause that doesnt do crap against zombies

and make the hand-held minigun alot stronger, 1 freakin bullet SHOULD take down atleast 4 zombies if you line one up with some, and shoot it in the head it should take out a few

Yes, but surely that would make the game too easy if you had, say 500 rounds of minigun ammo?

Yes, it would be great to have flying vehicles, but I think that the players should be kept out of them - you'd just get a long queue and lots of fights for vehicles a la BF2

Personally, I think that the weapons should be partly "classic", for example a winchester, 44 magnum, sawn-off shotgun, ak-47, but then (either for a different map or class etc) partly modern/near-future. e.g. M4 carbine, L85A1, 92FS berretta, Arctic Warfare Magnum or similar .50 calibre rifle.

best .50 cal rifle to my knowledge, Barret m82 semi-auto sniper rifle (SASR-special aplication scoped rifle, but still awsome), and coupled with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mk211_Raufoss.jpg then u could shoot down a helicopter (or maby even apc with good aim)
And maby for variety, Dragunov 7.62R svd, ak-74s, other international weapons.

On the other side, being able to fly a helicopter and pwn like 10 million zombies would be a bit unfair... but still fun. Like hop in an Apache helicopter and fly down a street crammed with zombies and blow em into little pieces.

I personally think it's hard....... to code it, model it, etc.
But I also think it's possible. Like in ieepathon6k, a car map in CS... just make it fly.

Look at the date please.

I don't know what the big deal is anymore: Usually if I inform that they bumped I'd scare em off.
I've forgotten how to warn them and shiyet.

Mods, close for the bumps.

Isit, hes talking about for source

The vehicle part would be easy, the flying would be more complicated.

Vehicles in Half-Life 1 (CS TFC DOD etc.)

are extremely easy to make, its just a train with a custom path.

Vehicles in Source (CS:S HL2 BB:S DOD:S TF2 etc.)

Alot harder and require alot more code for full control

Look at the old hl2 dm mod: Stridermod, it had flyable hunter choppers, look at how they did it, u would need a "Y value increase (keybind)" type thing, and a decrease thing, but im no coder, so dont ask me, all i know is some gmod wire aircraft stuff.
