I'm a real noob to brain bread, and it looks like a really fun mod. I downloaded it and installed it, but when I want to run it, it cant find hl.exe. I have Half life:Source downloaded on steam. Can anyone help me with this?

Ok, well, brain bread is a half-life one mod, so to run brain bread, you must have the original half-life 1 game to run it. If you have HL2, you will be able to play brain bread:source when it comes out. Since you only have half-life: source, and not the original half-life which runs on the gold source engine as half-life:source runs on the source engine, it doesnt have the materials it needs to run the first brain bread.

Well I have hl2, so I guess I cant wait till BrainBread source comes out. Is there a waay to get the original half life?

Buy it from Steam, or a shop that sells PC games. It is very cheap now.

Also...moved to Support.

I bought the regular Half Life and it still wont run! any ideas?

i have one uninstall brainbread goto your steamapps/(your steam acc name)/half life/brainbread <------ delete this folder then reinstall brainbread this will add it to the new installed half life files then run it from steam/mygames list .

Yes, you have to make sure the brainbread folder is INSIDE the half-life folder for it to work.

EDIT: here is an installation guide for brainbread... pretty basic really...
