This game has the worst pump shotgun of any game I have ever played, except maybe for 007: Nightfire. Here is a list of reasons it needs fixing:
- I can stick the shotgun to a zombie's neck and pull the trigger; 2/3 times this will NOT kill it. A 12-gauge shell to the head/neck WILL drop a zombie at point-blank no matter what the difficulty. - The shotgun crosses the screen to pump. This was the same problem as in the high-def pack in OP4/Blue Shift. Not only does it block your view, but the entire motion is overkill. It takes too long. The best solution would be a pump animation along the lines of the CS M3 Super 90. - The pump shotgun's pellets are of little use at any range, while the sawed-off can snipe a zombie's head off at 20 yards. - It sounds like it performs: Pathetic. In fact, many of the weapons do (M16 in any version, MP5, Micro-Uzis, Winchester, USP/P228/Beretta/Deagle/Glock 18, even the Minigun) The M3 is in desperate need of a fix. Need I say more? |

Possibly already posted.
Why not just download the model?
Dunno about if that's already been posted.
Get new custom sounds. -------------------- |

I couldn't find it.
Because then although the model moves faster, the fire rate is still the same.
People have complained about that disparity in the past.
A better solution would be to eliminate all those pistols that are basically the same, and thus free up more weapon slots. |

i agree that the shotgun need to be corrected, first i did shot with a shotgun,i never in any case bringned the shotgun close to my face to ' pump reload' it,the only thing its doing is increase the time before you can shot a other time, and its dumb aswell because you lost where you were aiming at,the good way to reload with a shotgun is like in firearms with marksmanship skill 1,he keep it down and pump it
2- the shotgun should be stronger than the sawed-off,why ? because the sawed is sawed, means the shots will keep less time grouped,so less hit the zombie= less dammage and blah blah blah |

It could be fixed by adding a few pellets to the shotgun. I think I've said that before.
What makes the sawed off better in range is that it has pellets doing extreme damage to "simulate" the bigger spread of pellets, or am I wrong here? |

couldn't say all i know is that it takes three shells from the pump-action to kill a zombie, even when aiming for the head, n only 1 or 2 from the sawn-off..which is kinda wrong...
