Okay here's the problem. Me and my friend use to play BB connecting to each others IP directly. Either I would create a game, or he would, then we'd trade our IP's to each other and connect through the console. We can successfully connect to Official Internet Servers and play together, but we'd rather play the campaign in a self-created private server, which is how we use to play. We tried using "sv_lan 0" and no results. We have no firewall blocking any connection. We plain and simply just cannot connect to each other directly through IP. Here are some extra details:

We both have Cox as our ISP.

Were both using Linksys WRT54G Wireless Routers. (We Opened Steam Ports)

Were both using Laptops. (We Disabled Windows Firewall)

Were both using Norton 360. (We Disabled Firewall)

Now there shouldn't be anything blocking a direct connection that we use to play with about 2 years ago. But all I receive is a "Retrying connection..." then a "Failed connection". Why can't we connect to each others IP anymore?

EDIT: Those extra details were exactly the same as when we use to play 2 years ago. Same routers, same ISP, same laptops, same anti-virus... Maybe that will help.
