It was in gamestar and pc player (both german magazines) and in some english magazines. But I don't have those

Yes... PE also has been published in the PC Gamer i think. It's really a nice mod. Test it if you want! Just download it and take a look.

in all honesty, i dont give it that much chance. im sure its a great mod and all, heck might even beat CS (not like thats hard). but HL2 is out now, and it wont be too long before mods for HL2 are comming out.

PE is a great mod, but what likely prevented it from doing well might be the cyberpunk theme. There just aren't enough people that are interested in the genre.
System Shock 2 was an amazing game, but didn't do as well as it should have. Was it due to the cyberpunk elements? i'm not sure, but i think it had something to do with it. "Although System Shock 2 was rated a masterpiece by all major magazines, sales were only mediocre. Ironically, the game shared the same fate as its predecessor: Both games never reached a mass audience, partly because of bad marketing efforts." from This Site -------------------- Add the Lawnmower to BB!!

PE rocks. The thing i don't like is the damage system (too little damage in the body imho) and some animations.

PE is soooo greate.
I love the Style of the Maps, with Sounds, PlayerModels and the Gameplay. And the Map Osaka .... WOOOOOOOOT   ....... Da fällt mir ein ....  @Madmax: Kannst du dich noch anjemanden erinnern der vor ... öhhm ... einem Jahr oder so, das Dojo aus PE nachgebaut hatte und die Map dann für nen anderen Mod nutzen wollte?! --------------------  Every second Day a new Comic! |

Why should they do more damage in the body?!?!? Since when can u kill a zombie by not shooting it in the head?
