I just saw it and I gotta say...It was Will Smiths best acting role ever but for a zombie fllick it wasn't much of a "horror" movie, more of a watered down action zombie flick.
Anyone else see it? I recommend it to anyone whose at the theatres and got nothing else to see... |

Im gonna go see it next weekend prolly, but I thought it was supposed to be more of a vampire flick, no? Dont all the creatures in it hate sunlight?

Well it's about a virus that causes symptoms similar to rabbies kinda like any other zombie flick. From what i gathered from the movie about them hating sunlight is because the virus dilates their pupils and causes severe skin damage, henceforth making them very vulnerable to direct sunlight.
And the infected act way more like zombies, they dont suck blood like vampires but rather just eat away at anything they can find. |

Interesting... I was wanting to see this movie, because I read in the wiki that it's about infected dudes and stuff.... Its a pretty creepy movie if you ask me..
(SPOILER not really big spoiler just kinda minor) Will Smith is a scientist and he is left alone at that place, so he takes zombies into lab sometimes when he can... and he takes this woman and this guy runs up (theyre out in the sun) and starts screaming at the top of his lungs. That zombie chases Will Smith's character throughout the rest of movie -------------------- -=U.N.C.L.E=- David

Even though it bares little resemblance to the book, I still enjoyed it. I LOVED it until the last thirty minutes or so.
*SPOILER* Pretty much started sucking when the girl and boy decided to make an appearence. I know they had to redo those scenes, but it was way too rushed and...well, sucked. Hard. Aha, I saw it yesterday!!!
Twas a good movie, and I'm getting it for DVD. Well.... I just love the apocalyptic feeling in it, and I've wanted to see an apocalyptic movie for a while. *Very bad Spoiler* Will Smith's dog dies. It gets infected... by who? You hafta see it. *Not a very bad spoiler* The infection was caused(it'll show in the beginning of the movie) by a cancer cure that was successful, but it began to create infected guys after.
