Yo.. welcome to the forums.

I'm gonna make this through steps... hope it makes sense.

Step 1:
Make sure you have Steam installed in your PC. If you don't have Steam, go to the website and download/install it. It's very easy to do. You need to have a Steam Account in order to access Steam.

Step 2:
Make sure you have a valid copy of Half Life. Since Brainbread is a Half Life mod, you will need the Half Life game so Brainbread can work.

Step 3:
Download Brainbread: http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/;36091
Looks like that's the only link working.

Step 4:
Once you're finished downloading it, install the game. It will ask what place the game should be installed in. Make sure to put in your username in the space provided.
It will ask something like this:
c:\program files\steam\steamapps\<YOUR USERNAME>\half-life

Replace the <username> space with your username.

Step 5:
Wait for it to install...... it usually takes a while.

Step 6:
Once it's done, make sure you're logged into Steam. The game will be found in your games list in Steam. If it's not there, restart your Steam and you will see it.
Double-click the name. Once it's working well, enjoy by playing by yourself or on the once-lively servers!

Yeah... I didn't even care about warning him. I'm tired mate. cool.gif
But the dude's just wanting to play. I've never seen a question like this for such a long time. So I just went ahead and gave him simple instructions.
