What is this model type for? The reason I brought this up is due to getting weapon skins into the game. I have no idea what the p model is for at all.

 A p_model from a skin right? Well, a p_model is really known as a player_model. Like, the gun model for the player. It's supposed to replace an old skin. If you don't put it in, the old gun skin will be used. If you do put it in the models folder however, it will be replaced. Hope this helps. Almost forgot to add, it's supposed to replace the 3rd-person view of the gun. Yeah there we go, that makes full sense now.
