So what have all the beta-testers been playing?
In the video it looked pretty much completed.
I think people will play it even if the zombies just act like the HL2 ones, even if there is no multi-player. As long as there are zombies and guns, there will be something to do, if only just survive!

I'm hoping this is just a "joke", like when the project was first announced. Maybe there will be a big release tomorrow?

Optimistic much?

You could release the BB:S content, I mean hasnt anyone looked at the
Science and Industry source?

They had,
1. 3 or 4 Bad maps with too much bloom.
2. 2 Nonfunctioning teams
3. Weapons taken right from CS:S colored green in MS Paint.

The way I see it, anything can't be as bad as SI:S or Codename HLDino.

It's so sad that this project is cancelled. sad.gif
I was really looking forward to BB:S, it was the reason for me to join this forum
The problem is, that there was definitely a place for a game like, because the BB concept differs distinctly from all the other zombie mods already made.Half of them will get crushed by L4D anyways. But I'm sure BBS wouln't have been affected by this particular progress which is coming.

As said by my previous speakers:
'Hope you guys save your work or release what you made. The world should know at least, that a great mod like this was in the making once.

There's no joke here.

Obviously, we regret to inform you that BB:S will not be continuing under the current leadership, as many have personal problems, and are unable to fully commit to the project.
We have however tried to bring the utmost quality in content to you fellows, in terms of updates and media. Sadly, we have failed in delivering, myself to blame as well, and as a result, many developers have lost motivation to continue.
I myself have created a number of maps to go with the final, of many which are unfinished and unpolished.

There is a very clear amount of gratitude that belong to all the developers, as they have all contributed to the growing success of the mod, albeit it having failed in the end.

A few people deserve mentioning, and I think you guys should give them a good round of applause, for their work in trying to make BB:S

- Firstly, our mod leader, Lundquist, who worked exceptionally hard to direct us into the right direction, and fought his way to bring progress.
- Erkygecko, modeller, skinner, and mapper, who provided our media, and techniques around problems of our models, including fixing animations, and the like.
- Smachine, who was consistently pumping content and media into our eyes, making new weapon models and skinning, never giving up, despite our downfalls.
- _RC, who was an excellent mapper, and modeller, skinner combined, generating numerous amount of models and imbedding into his created maps.
- _CiviliaN^SoldieR_, our friend! wink.gif
- Luciel, our spain living friend who gave us computer hardware discounts, originally worked on the new website, and had much to offer.
- bacon333, who was our mapping recruit, and was under training. Excellent improvements from when he first joined. I gotta say, he was shite! No offense mate! But what did matter, and what everyone should admire him for was his great length of improvement. And you could absolutely tell from the content he whips up to us. Compare them with a year or two ago, and you can definitely say that this chap has got potential. And I congratulate him for being accepted into one of the most prestigious mods of the century. Deserves it.
- SNIPER-X, our former leader, who buggered off.
- Zpin, and Madmax_FMM, Ironoak leaders, and the snake charmers, with our head of the snake being Lundquist.
- Last but not least, there's me, mapping leader, though, I didn't perform as directed. And I did not provide content in a extended period of time.

Well, there we go, commendations to all the devs, and any which I have missed out.

So BB:S is dead, for the meantime, but we hope to resurrect the mod, and to do that, we need people. As many are aware, Brainbread is still a game much played, and nothing beats the experience of double barreling a zombie in the chest with a sawn off. So, I think I speak for the developers, that we equally want to see this mod launch as much as you do, and although we're disbanding, many of us still await the sequel.

This is where you guys come in. We need people to fill our roles, and to do that, skills are needed.

In the meantime, boards are kept opened, and things remain unchanged, apart from the news of course.

are any of you actually staying on the mod if a new team is formed or are you ALL quitting, thus dooming this mod to the toilet/water loo

I personally would quit anyways, sooner or later, as Im now in university and cant spare much free time for 3D arts. I dont really know about the others, but the main thing is coder, its really not a person you easy lur into mod, sadly. They are usually trained specialists around 25 with job and life and its not so easy to get someone who wants to dev some game in free time.

Well-said, Snow...

See you guys, thanks for working hard on this game. We will probably help with the recruitement, I don't know.
As of now, to keep Brainbread alive, let's focus on the finished one: Brainbread 1.2! It needs to be ressurected somehow, but our inactivity's getting the best of us(you guys, at least).

Only one thing to say

[SIZE=14][COLOR=red][B][I][U]I TOLD YOU SO!!!! unsure.gif

I mean come on...they would have done in 2 or maybe more years...if they had focused on the gameplay rather than too much eye benders then we would have still got a MOD

Technically:they got bored and knew it was too late to do the gameplay and funding probably went down and the leader got bored...soo they decided to work on a HOPEFUL mod that might one day make another good team raise the Brainbread from the ashes...

Yeh I know,im freaky but i can also be dumb laugh.gif
