it worked!!!! i can play it now!! but the weird thing is that now all my games on steam says pre load complete and then it says purchase game is there any way of gettin rid of that?

Errr you have to buy half life BUY! so you have a real cd key enter that in steam or purchase via steam pre-load complete means you have not bought the game...

Uh... yes. If you install it.
all you have to do is simply launch the program, wait for a few seconds, then your done. The brainbread's already in halflife. And it's right, not write. I didn't understand at first.
