In my opinion a good way to attract players is to ask planet halflife to advertise it in thier daily news thing. Thats how I found out about BB!!

i think this mod should come back i mean the gameplay s kool the maps are awesome its pretty cool OR mabey you people can make the same maps on pe onto bb ??? that would be cool

i remember the images of these maps, i haven't played the game yet, but I guess it's not that big because it wasn't publicized to well..

PE rocked, the animations could have been abit better and the "hackers" could have been looking like something else than pizza eating slobs .
Gameplay wise nothing has shown the potential for teamplay for the half-life engine, man wish PE was made for source, it would rock, and just think about the cybernetic implants with the physics engine, fun! .

@lestat666: I don't think that my PE-Maps would fit in the BB-Theme. Hehe... perhaps i'll create a small mappack with all PE-Maps converted for BB... jus for fun... but they won't be official in that case.

I'm workin on a small scifi campaign for BB. ^^ I redesign my PE-Maps (all official PE Maps) for BB. It will be a small scifi campaign; nothing official. Just for fun.

I have never experienced playing it with other people...I joined a server and nobody was in it so i couldn't play....but yeah I say we band together and get playing it and get it advertised...shit Ill put up flyers at school if I have to...and we get it up and running again...

I played this mod when it first came out, it was fun. A few problems I noticed was it was too much like cs and Science and Industry. Both are fun games, but I was expecting more from this one. I found the whole hacking thing with the terminal and being timed to do it was very much like a cs bomb run. Then the upgrades reminded me of science and industry. So instead of getting into the game play with a mixture of the 2, it just made me want to go play si or cs.

But besides that, I still think this mod is very good. I've always wanted to do a Bladerunner/shaddowrun mod. The whole cyberpunk theme seems perfect for the hl community. And your maps are fantastic! It's easy to see that alot of time and skill went into this mod, but it could just need a little refining to become a popular game.

Maybe a slight revamp would help out alot. I've been playing science and industry for about 3 years now on and off. About a year and a half ago, it was dead. Only a handful of oldschool players played it. Over time they slowly made it user(n00b) friendly and it picked up again. Now the n00bs are becomming skilled players, inviting there friends from others mods to try it, making the community slowly grow.

But I realy don't know alot about anything , so I could just be blowing smoke up your ass. But what I do know is that this is a good mod, and good mods shouldn't die out like this did. And if you guys felt like changing the game play a bit, to see if the masses would enjoy, I would be more then happy to be the first to beta test for you >.<
