Ich denke man sollte die "Winchester Bar" von "Shaun of the Dead" als Map nachgestalten und als Modus "Last Man Standing" gewählt wird. I'm actually, er, sort of half-assed working on this one. I've got the shell of the bar in place, and I'm going to have ripped textures (o' course) from the movie, the actual Winchester (thanks to the BB dev team) hanging behind the bar, the "Ooh Ahh Dracula" fruit machine that Ed plays (in the map now, with actual textures from the machine on someone else's prefab, slightly modified), and of course... plenty of Queen. The only problem is: I've never made a map for any game, ever. I'm not doing that bad, but I'm having my doubts if I'm going to finish. Especially since I can't do in-game modelling for crap and I have to rely on the prefabs of others for detailing. Also, the DVD is hard to get quality screencaps from, as most of the shots of the Winchester are mid-close-up with all the scenery blocked by the cast...
To sum up, I'm up sh**'s creek unless I can get someone to help/take over completely. Update: The map's wrecked, completely (I made the horrible mistake of selecting everything and scaling it down all at once). It won't compile, I've deleted several entities to try and solve the problem... have to completely re-do everything. Not sure if it's even worth the trouble anymore. |

We definitly need more maps where we're in tight spaces fighting endless zombies after us :-P
(and IMO ammo/gun spawn shud be lowered so its used more wisely) |

Nope, I'm working on it again... have some 20-or-so textures, a load of prefabs, some overly ambitious ideas... And Queen. The only problem will be hosting it after I finish, and the fact that the file is going to weigh in at... at least 3 megs (nearly the entirety of "Don't Stop Me Now" is in, plus loads of new textures), making on-the-fly downloading a bit difficult. But still, you all wanted it, so I'll oblige. This really needs to be in the "Usermaps" forum at this point... I'll make a new thread there once I'm a bit closer to completion (I just have the basic shape of the bar now, which is much MUCH better than what it was last go 'round).
