A nice addition would be to make the survivor sprites on the grunts too (the red blood splatter with teeth you see over players when a zombie), so as a zombie you know where ALL brains are. Instinctivly making more sense than just only knowing where some humans are.

Yeha since the grunts are human too, they should have the sprite on them. This would make a nice little addition.

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

we aint talking technical,just beacuse they are npcs doesnt meen we shouldnt give them a sprite for the zombie players.

The only problem I see with this is if the map employs a large number of marine in a realitively small area, the sheer number of markers may cloud the HUD.

Perhaps if there was a maximum range for the sprite / different sprite altogether this would have a better chance.

What map is that, because the most marines i have ever seen on a map is carnage or slaywatch or whatever that one is with like 6 or 7 marines and a tank. most have 2 or 3 marines. and Hell that argument is null in face of the fact no matter WHERE survivovers are on the map their survivor icon shows up: the ycould be completely inaccessible and on the other side of the map and they still appear

I think you didn't read it correctly ... immoral suggested that even with 6/7 marines, the sprites even then will clog up the screen, because the sprites are pretty big.

What he suggested is a proximity sprite, e.g. show only sprites within x distance of player, or perhaps a differant, smaller sprite.

Thank you Mac, I'd also like to add that the latter of the two (different/smaller sprite) would be the more important one in my opinion, but I think it to be best to implement both if the devs want to add the icon to NPC's.

I would also like the option to turn the sprites off, but I don't know if that is possible. They tend to get in the way sometimes, but can also be very useful.

I see no real reason why grunts shouldn't have the "rawr sprites" (as i call them) on them.

When you played as a skulk on ns you could press v to activate the visison where you could see your alien team mates better. Why not have this feature on zombie players and if the sprites clog up the screen, turn em off.

You all must have really shitty computers or something, or just completely missed the point.
I've played on a server with like 20 other people and when I turn zombie the sprites don't "clog up my hud". If you're worried about things blocking your vision don't even play this game because the zombies will block your view.
The whole point of my suggestion was that it makes no sense how the sprite is over humans, yet not grunts, when the zombies are going after "ANY HUMAN" in "THE GAME", so forget the idea of "NPC" for a second. The grunts are survivors too, hence why there should be the sprite.
