Are you kidding me? Those prices are fucking cheap for such good components. I look at a computer magazine and I could find a computer with those same specs for more than $1200.

Well I forgot to say that, with the prices like that, my dad will go kaboom and get mad at me for asking him to get such components.
He does not like to pay that high for computers. Well for my needs...

But.... if it's my birthday, he'd probably get some of those components.

Thanks for shaping up my new comp, hunter, must've took you very long.
I'll check em out once more.

One of those components might probably be made true.

Yeah spent a lil while but found it kinda fun love designing systems. And yeah they are very cheap considering whats in them, i paid 800 pounds for my pc and the more expensive one is quite better spec then you gotta release how much american dollars that is well over $1200. I used a site called pricegrabber.com theres also a .co.uk version for us brities very good for finding the cheapest prices on the net.

Ok some cheaper itemsfound still quite a good one:

eVGA e-GeForce 7300GS Video Card

Best price: $59.97

From:

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=EV-7300GS...2ab0117b378ea32

WD Caviar SE 250GB Hard Drive

Best price: $61.00

From:

http://www.pricegrabber.com/user_sales_get...&lot_id=6460315

Taking the price down to: $465.69

Saving you: $69.02

This wont even be the final price because you still have to buy the case and powersupply not forgetting operating system software.

Hmm... My favourite graphics brand is nVidia at the momment, and my favourite CPU brand is AMD... However since AMD aquired ATI, I may change...

I would go for a direct X 10 graphics card, with at least 2 gigs of ram, a 7200 rpm sata 2 drive (320 gigs), a dual core AMD CPU... 5000+ preferably... Oh, and make sure you get at least a 700 watt PSU, and you may send this system to my home address... thanks biggrin.gif

EDIT:

NCIX.com - Canada
TygerDirect.ca - Canada
Tygerdirect.com - USA
Newegg.com - USA

Ok. That is all BS what you just said. The GS line of cards are probably better than the GT line of cards, as far as nVidia is concerned. I have a 6800GS, and I was able to unlock some pipelines, and overclock it from 350 mhz to 420 mhz. 256 megs of ram on it, was able to overclock memory from 1000 mhz to 1200 mhz... no problems. (AGP graphics above, PCI-E stock is 450 mhz, overclockable to 520 mhz)

EDIT: Oh, and erm, I picked it up for 200 bucks CND last year in May... GT at the time was 300. PC gamer is full of shit, they have no idea what they are talking about half the time...

Sorry for being such an ass, I'm just a little errr... grumpy today... biggrin.gif

I always go to ebuyer but this price comparison site actually retrieves cheaper prices than it. Zombie is american so needs an american supplyer.
