I noticed that a lot of these are very nice and all, but some need more...tears in their clothing; to make it look like they went through hell.

I noticed that too, but the way the model is uhh.. modelled it makes it hard, or looks completely idiotic. The shirt tail and front kinda hangs off the body. Without editing the model, the tears would look kinda pasted on. I'm no modeller either :/

Maybe we can get the devs to add torn ridges and such to the zombie clothing in later versions.

Hey guys, I'm new, but I've been watching these boards since PHL mentioned the Mod, and I'm very excited.

I just wanted to leave some comments about the great skins I've been seeing you guy put out.

First, I want to say they are all excellent. I just have a couple of suggestions.

1. You guy's have been doing a great job on the faces and the upper bodies, but it seems the legs and feet are being neglected a bit. I'm not a skinner, so I'm not sure if you can change the way the shoes look, but they're way too clean! These zombies have been running all over the city looking for flesh to consume, and it looks like they just stopped to get their shoes polished. A really cool effect that I think might look great, is if you perhaps make the bottoms of their pant legs really bloody and fade up as you go towards their knees, as if they had been wading through pools of blood. Or, another idea: you could make their knees really bloody as if they had been kneeling down eating a corpse!

2. I really liked the idea of an icecream man -- and I was just thinking instead of having all these well dressed zombies, maybe you could change what their wearing for some variety? I was thinking you make one dressed like a plumber? A garbage man? A motorcycle biker?

3. GCN_Aba's skin reminded me a lot of a surgeon or a doctor, and then I realized it would be hilarious to be chased by a zombie doctor or surgeon! He could still be wearing his mask and bloody gloves perhaps? A stethescope on this chest, tongue depressors and pens in his pockets.

Anyway -- just a few ideas. Keep up the good work guys, and I really look forward to this mod being released!

I guess to sum it all up: Make their shoes and pants bloodier! They've been through hell and back!

Great suggestions, Addicted, and noted. I usually get bored with the skin after I finish the face, so the clothes are just moshed up without a real effort. I'll try and make some better ones with the helpful notes you stated. BTW, welcome to the boards and community of BB.

Great comments Addictet, some of them also fit the BB zombies. I suggest to use good photo reference as a base for cloth skinning, that's the way I do it.

what do u use to make skins?

to change the "colors" "Face" "Body" you need a programm like "Paint Shop Pro", "Photo Shop" "Paint"

To add the Skins to the model you need the "MDL VIEWER".
