It actually startet as a funmod meant to be played at our last private lanparty but we couldn't finish it in one week But the goresystem was done and this was a good thing to start with. I have to say, that I spent a lot of time in some of the models which are a lot more complex than the pe ones, so for me it isn't "just" a funmod if I look at if from a modelers view. But the idea is the same as it was in the beginning: make something we like to play, something with zombies
I don't think we have to defend ourselfes by saying it's just a funmod. We all have our lifes beside it, I startet the second year at the university and it's obvious, that we want to release this piece soon. If it's good, we want to put more effort in it. Anyways, it's a huge motivation to see that people might enjoy (we don't know for sure because you haven't played it yet) what we like to create.
We had some bad experiences with public-enemy, because we put a lot of effort in it and the success was rather small. So I guess this is why madmax underlines the word "funmod" so often (don't beat me madmax ). But as long as you keep in mind that we can't put as much effort into it as professional Studios (DOD, Natural selection and so on are kind of professional), it's really cool if we get good and encouraging comments from you!!
