HL2 is out in two days, but In a lot of ways I'm looking forward to BB more. I mean, you just can't beat coop survival horror with zombies and AI allies.
HL2 has no coop mode, which gives BB a huge advantage in my book. Sure you can host a game on a single player map in HL2 and have people join it, but that'd be buggy as hell. The moment BB is out, I'm calling a LAN party and picking up loads of beer and pizza. It'll be a long night. |

Heheh, we moved our coming LAN's a bit further because BB isn't released in public yet. I won't let them play the beta, they'll have to wait for the full release.  I agree with you about the advantages of BB when compared to HL2 (I still have to buy the latter  ). -------------------- |

I'll wait about a year before getting HL2, so...even if I did get HL2 in two days, I'd still play this.

And in a year there should be a lot of good mods out for HL2.
I woudln't expect HL2 to come down in price too much in only a year. Look at HL1, its still $30-$40 CDN and its ancient. At its age, it should be 5-15 bucks. |

Ah, true. But I don't need it right away, so I don't see any point of getting it the first week or two it's out. I'll let all the people that have to have it get it first. If you've got the hardware to run it, I would infact reccomend getting HL2 ASAP... according to all reviews it's simply a game of the highest quality. Get it for the singleplayer, if nothing else =)

HL2 is the best and i will pay 50 bucks for it. its on pre-order for me
hopefully BB will go source aswell in the future sported ofcourse by the thousands going to download it. (im working on that arent much friends of mine who dont know about the mod yet ) |

In the US you can buy HL source in CD or DVD in stores, in the UK only on DVD (bastards!).
Via steam you can by various levels of HL2, including extra features, CS source, HL Source, DOD source etc. -------------------- |
