Make the game harder!

I say we give everyone a knife in the beginning and scatter the weapons throughout the map. That'll make things interesting.

you actually should be able to beat the maps on your own. Zombies grow stronger the more players join the server.

All that does is make you slower and do less/take more damage :\... I just end up setting the zombie count to 140 (double the normal limit) and run around getting a huge mob and have a nice large fight. -------------------- Email/MSN:NinjaWaffle@gmail.com

Less ammo and more/tougher zombies would be the best way. And also make there be as few "safe" (on top of cars, etc) spots as possible.
The only time that I ever die is if I'm running to an objective an I get cornered by a mob. |

Yeah, I think there should be some "safe" spots, but those should mainly be that you can't get 100 kills from... like in the barn, you can sit there and shoot a couple zombies.. but you can't get close to as many kills as you could get if stood on the cop car (I've had almost 100 zombies in that area before). -------------------- Email/MSN:NinjaWaffle@gmail.com

Maybe you should start with just your firsts, that way its like you're just a normal guy walking down the street and then the zombies attack, and you have to find a weapon or you'll pretty much get owned by the zombies.

I think makeing it harder would be giveing some zombies some abilities, or have some hit harder then others. Less ammo is a good idea so then its more about survival, and not just running around blowing away every zombie you see. Maybe then haveing a objective where you get a stockpile of ammo or somthing to make the zombie clenseing part more along the lines of, we got our ammo, let's go kill some zombies.
Also I think when your a zombie, you should get some abilities. Like haveing a zombie skill tree or somthing, or along the lines of a point system. (keep the human point skill system sepperate from when your a zombie.) Also, would be cool if you could fake being dead as a zombie, haveing people run by then jump up and get them from behind ![]() |

Zombie Bite- Holds the person for a couple of seconds as you bite down on them. Not only does that take a huge amount of HP away from the human and give the zombe giving the bite some HP back, but also should spread the infection thru the body even more.
Fatser and Stronger Arm Swingng- Zombies with their Skill level up should get both or either faster swinging and harder hits. (Faster swinging my be in the Speed, but that sounds more like moving around on foot speed and not arm swinging speed.) Smarter Zombies (More coordinated)- Also if you have enough Skill maybe it would make you a smarter zombie and you can actually climb up ladders and jump on top of cars. After all you are not the norm zombie any way, so why not make it more? |

Yeah, what WLR said.. plus:
Voluntary zombification - Pretty much self-explanatory, some folks can start off as zombies if they wish. (Limited to one-quarter of total number of survivors.. or less). Zom-B-Vision - As a zombie, players have limited peripheral vision, and see everything really dark, except for bright red victims (both Players and NPCs). Have no Player-Name indicator at the bottom, so it's hard to tell if you're attacking an NPC or a human (to avoid the increasingly popular Marine sacrifices). In fact... MARINE KILLS DON'T COUNT... enough said. Also, maybe take away the zombie jumping, but add in ladder climbing.. (ever seen the original Dawn of the Dead?) Maybe give the zombies the ability to climb over obstacles... slowly (like the ledge-hoisting from Action HL). Make player zombies only slightly faster than regular zombies, but to compensate give the high-powered weapons (most) alot of recoil, and muck the aim up just a bit. And make headshots the ONLY way to kill a zombie apart from blowing them up completely. Perhaps even find a way to make the upper torso crawl after people (would be interesting in first person...) Oh, and zombies can't chat with anybody except other zombies... both to set up ambushes and to make the game more immersive, and such. No respawning as Survivor - Unless you leave the server and come back. Alternately, keep this in, but if you do come back as a survivor your old body remains a Super Zombie... like the Crimson Heads from Resident Evil. This may give some people more incentive to stay alive and not try to be G.I. Joe, taking on every zombie on their own, unless you want the map crawling with Super Zombies. |

I would be more happy if the players could actually lose the game. Even if the player turns into a zombie he still reverts back to being human after killing one player or a couple of npcs. Oh yeah and zombie have a hard time hitting any targets.
