client.dll problem

Rotten Meat Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: June 20, 2005	hey there, im new to the forum. i can't seem to get brainbread to actually run. i have it installed correctly and i see it in the my games list, but when i click on it i get the message "could not open client.dll". could someone help me plz???? iv downloaded it three times but it always happens. could some1 send me the client.dll file? thx for the help.

That's because you need steam, and it only works for half-life 1.

It says that probably because you downloaded the wrong version of BrainBread. You have to download the latest version of BrainBread, which is v1.2

Go to the homepage, go to downloads, and download 'BrainBread v1.2'

Rotten Meat Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: July 17, 2005	Im having a different problem with the .dll file. Everytime i join the server it says me .dll file differs. I know its not because I do not have the latest version becasue I have v1.2. Can someone help me out?

Rotten Meat Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: July 17, 2005	Yo, Yo I just dled BrainBread i installed v1.2 an i was having problems so i dled v1.1 first and it worked so then i went back to v1.2 and when i went to install it again every file it install it says theres a problem and i can; Abort download, Ignore, and Retry and ive tryed all and none have helped so i was wondering if theres a patch or something that i need befor i can install v1.2
