to those who know the"Evil dead" movies,know that it would be cool to have a map just like the one in the first 2 movies or make one with factors from all 3.I wanted to create it but im still learning the craftwork ship of good ol' valve hammer

heres what i'm thinking:

-A cabin in the woods
-inside the cabin theres a basement with zombies in it
-outside the cabin: zombies all over the place.
-outside the cabin trees ofcourse and maybe some graves (a hand sticking out of a grave would be verry cool because its also an element from the movies )
-somewhere in the woods a mill from evil dead 3?
-it's a nightmap
just thinking you know can someone help me with this?


just typ "evil dead" or "evil dead cabin" in at google pictures for more info.
(lol,i look like some big evil dead fan,i say evi ldead alot don't i??!! )

OMG I just realised I have only seen a part of the evil dead series. Now I must go rent all of those on DVD if it is and the dawn of the dead remake and regular dawn of the dead. Hey do u guys think there will be a remake of Day of the Dead movie too, probably not. Was there a A Night of the Dead, cause I know there was a Night of the Living Dead parts 1&2, and Return of the Dead. Who wants to make a Scooby Dooby Doo on Zombie Island based map? LOL j/k. O I got an idea after the Evil Dead map is created we could make a Friday the 13th what's that camp again called? Camp Hope? I dunno I am a wee bit (opposite of low) right now

If someone makes this, and makes it a nightmap, then make sure it isn't dark everywhere. Not many like those flashlight maps.

So far i have only seen evil dead 1 and 2.. downloading Evil Dead 3 atm

Camp Crystal Lake. Both an ED and Friday based maps are very good ideas, what would be really cool is if someone could reskin Fred to look like Jason and he would be the big zombie you have to kill.

great idea about that friday the 13th map and about reskinning fred into jason.I really think these are 2 maps that could become populair.

evil dead map: bb_cabin
friday the 13th map: bb_camp_Crystall_lake

I've already done someting similar to this for Svencoop, i'll try and convert it.

now we'er talking and evildead map I would love to play... oh and dont forget Moon light. and I would love to try to make that map but let me get done trying to make my first map.

Oh yea dont forget to make the brige that looks like a hand...

I've started it, it's late at night and i'm googling for pics of evil dead all i'm getting is scary demons, no terrain pics, so i'll make my own bridge

EDIT: started the bridge. the sky map is great, it's trees in the nighttime.

How do i make my lighting dark?

Civilian soldier, I don't want to sound mean, but this style of map might be a bit too advanced for you right now... Perhaps you should get a mapper with a few years under his belt to at least help guide you through it and give you tips.

Er, the map I made is a lot like that lol! It's bb_cemeterytrouble_beta1, I posted about it in Overlord's pinned thread, but the pics I posted weren't from the cabin area though :/
