I'm thinking of starting some mapping. Since Hammer is very similar to rhino I was able to familiarize myself with most of its functions. However I can't seem to get past this error:
"Cannot locate filesystem dll" In the options I gave it all the appropriate directories for game executable, mod directory, and game directory. I am totally puzzled by the cause of this error. Can anyone help? Also, can someone post a Hammer FAQ detailing specifics about Hammer and BB (i.e. BB specific entities etc.) Thanks in advance! -------------------- |

i dont know about that other problem because im not a mapper, but i do know hammer tutorials can be found on the web that detail everything there is to know about hammer. when your done with those, just use BB entity's and your all set to go. |

Renegade, please don't tell me you are using Hammer v.4.0. It is not compatable with HL1 mods. You need to use either v.3.4 or v.3.5 beta.
Chances are this is your problem, if not, I'll look into it further. -------------------- BB Maps I've made...

I'm using version 3.4.
p.s. I know about the FAQs, hammer even has quite a helpful help section, I was just wondering if there was any specific knowledge on BrainBreads behaviour with Hammer. edit: nm, I found some good stuff in the usermaps forum. -------------------- |
