jus a suggestion, but why not add a nade launcher instead of, say, flamethrower? its more likely that the military r gonna carry a nade launcher instead of flamethrower, isnt it? jus a suggestion wink.gif

lol ok,well i dont want another "I've got a new idea for a Gun" thread flame war to begin,so lemme tell yah<its not going to happen ok? Although i Like your suggestion id just leave it as is

Mods and everyone will tell ye the same, its a fun mod, although its a nade launcher would be awsome,it would also make it incredibly easy to destroy hoardes of zombies, with out being anywhere near, just like the NAde suggestion, this wont happen

Next patch their will be a Winchester,or Chainsaw, most likely a Winchester, after that God Can only guess

Well, Keyes has a point. If the grenade already happens to exist in the game, why not be the "lazy man" and have a device that fires them for you so you don't have to expend energy tossing them?

Almost as basic as adding a different animation to the grenade, instead of an "hand throwing it" the grenade flies out of the barrel of a launcher. Same effect when the grenade detonates though. huh.gif

Back in the good ol' days, we didn't have your guns, grenades, helicopters, and military personal up the ying-yang.
All we had was a sword, a shield, a suit of shiny armor, and plenty of holy magic. I think you youngens have it easy killing off these undead.

yeah, good idea, but noooooo, it would completely ruin the feel of the game, and may make it too easy, lobbing grenades amongst the undead, they go flying...dead, wait for next hoard....it would take away the sheer panic and horror of the game :S

Were trying to aim the mod away from military weapons and theres you with teh GL!!! Tbh read the other threads on weapons and find out m8. Thats why teh devs have given us a vote of chainsaw or winchester, both "homegrown" weapons.

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

Besides, the flamethrower is more effective against a group of zombies than grenades. And not having a big exploive weapon means you need to kill each one individually rather than lobbing a trio of grenades at a mob down the street...

I agree with Sniper alot of fire is very effective against rotten hordes of the undeath!
However, a massive explosion would be far more interesting to use on the undead. I can recall a magical spell in another game that would litterly send mobs or players flying into the air, causing them to take falling damage. Now thats dealing with your enemies. happy.gif

come to think of it, a grenade launcher might work.

but it'd have to be well balanced, it can lob nades, explode on impact, radius able to take down a cluster of say 8-9 zombies (if they all huddled together, and the damage was a 1 hit kill), damage about enough to kill the clostst 2-3 zombies and damage the rest. reload should be slow, ammo maximum 1 in the chamber 5 spare.

with a slow reload, and reloading after 1 shot, a grenade launcher can be a weapon incase of emergency. it would not be rewarding to run around with it because after you shoot ya take 3-4-5 sec to reload. it should, if its ever added, really be the weapon you select before the axe, to clear out those few, final zombies before the end.

just think of this: your running through a level, shooting various undead with a m16, but your low on ammo. at a certain point your out. your sawed is low aswell. its another 50 feet till the checkpoint. your frantactly empty your gun. 30 feet. clip empty, but no time for a reload. you meet just a few zombies between you and salvation. you cant stop running, but you cant run any further either. ya take out your grenade launcher and kill 2-3 zombies, creating a gap just big enough in the zombie line to run through, and reach the safety of the outpost of the living.

can be quite exciting if i do say so myself. like i sed earlyer, it should be a "last hope" weapon, that you can fire off a round with if left no other choice (especially reloading after 1 shot and having a good reload time would make you wanna use a gun more then a grenade launcher)

If you did a search for them, then the words you searched for are highlighted in that color.

Based on what data? An explosive doesn't use much more data than a bullet. It may slow some people's frame rates down, but that isn't lag.
