In a game of zp, shooting a zombie so that it's head is completely destroyed (and the zombie is killed) will not give a player experience. If only part of the head is damaged or destroyed, the shot will give the player XP.

I haven't checked with one hit kills, but if the killing blow on the zombie is a headshot, then no experience is given.
