One of the things that excited me about this mod is the rpg element with level gaining. However I was reminded of a program artmoney or a multitude of other programs for that matter. The program called artmoney used to cause alot of trouble with a mod called Master-Sword. It's a simple program that searches for values that can be changed. Takes about four minutes to do something like this

I suggest developing something to stop this.

My goodness, just set both "sv_expperlevel" and "sv_exppotence" to "1" and you should gain levels in no time at all. Why do people always try to do it the most complicated way? tongue.gif

you can't cheat on a server like this... the server controls where you can spend points and increase the stats so on the client it's just the plain number... won't help you smile.gif

he means, that the server controls how much stat points you have.

basicly there are 2 values: the number shown on screen, and the actual number of points you have.

here it only shows 999999. that number on thescreen is controlled per client, and thus, can be altered with the program art money.

the actual points you have though, is controlled on the server. if that says 2, then you only have 2 actual stat points to add.

compare it with appletree's. if you have a apple tree, that has 2 apples, then plant millions of tree's... you'll still only have 2 apples.

Actually this is the basis of my next program. I have started working on it already, its called LevelEditor. However I will not release it unless the devs give me permission first (basically it allows server admins to change players' individual levels)

P.S. you don't even need a program to do this, I figured out how to do this the first day I set up my server. All you need is a calculater, but I'm not going to say.... just incase the devs dont want this information to be spread. wink.gif
