There are no tracers in revolvers.
Tracers are usually only included on full auto guns so the user can correct his aim. There is no need for this in a low ROF gun with high recoil.
It looks kinda wierd.
Can we remove it plz?

p.s. why is there no muzzle flash for the revolver? There should be a muzzle flash on the revolver....

lol how can ya tell laugh.gif

well, I figure if you hate something so much that isn't going to be taken out anytime soon, the best thing to do is to make it as likeable as possible!

I'm just systematically listing the little things that would make the revolver go from "absolute piece of crap junk" to "meh, I'd pick it up in desperation".

But yea, this is serious though, no pistol, let alone revolver, is likely to have tracer ammo in it.

irony: Tracers are usually inserted into medium to high ROF guns with medium to large magazines, and medium to low recoil..... the revolver is a low ROF gun with a small chamber and high recoil..... tongue.gif

irony: Tracers are usually inserted every 3-4 bullets..... the revolver has a 6 bullet chamber..... tongue.gif

p.s. I'm so confident I'll even go as far to say that I bet they don't even make tracers in the .44 calibre rounds!!

why should it be?

Also I may not have noticed this because all the guns have some sort of muzzle flash.... the revolver does not.

If it is impossible to remove tracer fire from the HL engine (which it isn't), at least add a muzzle flash to cover it....

in all honesty, I don't think this suggestion is outrageously insane in anyway and totally feesable.....

honestly ive seen shots of mine miss, and i would call it a bug if it wasnt for the tracer fire which actually showed it passing long the head.

cmon renegade, its not that important. i'd rather have everybody see where their bullits are going, then having to delete 200 threads about a "no hit bug".

But so far you've been the only one to bring up "200 threads about a "no hit bug". " ...

It's beginning to sound like no matter how legit my suggestions are you just immediatly ignore them...

If you can justify why a revolver SHOULD NOT HAVE A MUZZLE flash, I'd like to see you go ahead and try. Then when your down with that you can justify why every other gun in BB has one and the revolver doesn't....
You can't honestly sit there and justify the revolver not having a muzzle flash!!

I'm not looking to complain, I'm just looking for consistency...

The more bad ideas you put out in your torrent of threads and ranting the less likely people will respond positivly about your possible good ideas.

Haven't played with it, but BB is hardly a realism mod, so guns that shouldn't have tracers don't irk me that much. Shouldn't this be in the suggestions forum though?

Very interesting, if you were a unbiased party in any of the matters at hand.

As for broad generalizations, remember that you are included in them...

In the matters where I am a neutral party I have observed similar responses; so it's not that.

And as I stated previously, I don't suggest outrageous and absurd suggestions. I may rant, but my suggestions are always well thought out and legitamit, greatly downsizing the possibility of having that generalization apply to myself.
