but alot of those still exist, as common hunting rifles. still the weapon of choice of the more expert hunter. single shot low recoil makes it perfect for hunting.

The .22 that i used to shoot did, they rocked, not powerful, but you felt like a man when you pulled the bolt back realy fast to see the round fly back. Lol.

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

Alright, either having a bolt action sniper rifle means it should be a military rifle, such as the M40 the military is now going to use in place of the M24:
M40

Or a cool hunting rifle/police rifle such as the Remington 700:
Remington 700

These are realistic in the way you'd be able to find them in a zombie fest, not to mention they have pretty much the same power as a silenced stoner. So yeah, suggesting these two as the best choices for a sniper rifle.

no, no, no tongue.gif. The reason where getting a bolt action is because we want it to feel more civilian, like the mod is supposed to happy.gif.

i think we should have a bolt action, but maybe with left click can be regular shot, not to accurate, and right click could put it into iron sights, since if you are sniping, that would be cool. like if a zombie is next to you, use regular shot, but if hes like 100yds or w/e, use iron sights to take him out. and also, this would be like 1 shot kill? cause the problem i have with .44 is that its a slow shot, and doesnt always kill in one hit.

Iron sights are not and will not be implemented.

The scale is not what matters, and a scope is not the same as iron sights... neither in functionality or code.

The principle in those threads applies even if you want to put them on a single weapon.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the Springfield operated on a 10 round stripper clip. Though I'm largely basing this on DoD knowledge tongue.gif

But definately include more than a 1-round magazine. Bolt is okay, but inserting a new round into the chamber every shot would get kind of frustrating.

Could it be loaded like a shotgun if it was used less that 5 bullets (a clip) and after that a whole clip?
Not to be picking or anything but as countless others have said in countless sitauations.... it would be cool.

What type of bolt action would we want/have? I'd like something with a mag hence- *mag in, bolt back, round out, bolt forward, shoot, bolt back, round out, boltforward shoot e.t.c* it'd be faster then manualy loading it with 1 every shot. It'd save time- BUT we'd have to take the power down because of it's magazine, so the question is do we want a

Moving on, what bolt action would everyone like? (Put some pics down happy.gif)

Hmm a bolt with a mag...Like a M1 Garand? Sure that would be cool but I would rather have this russian WWII rifle...I can't think of the name right now but I will post when I remember it.

it is? ohwell, there goes my guess. im right about the hunting rifles though.

nah im not talking about 1 bullit. you load 5 loose bullits at a time, basicly its nothing more then a animation to fill up the time. like the revolver ya load 2 at a time here you load 1 at a time, and after 5 loads, you can fire, cock the bolt, fire, and so on till 5 bullits are spend, then reload the gun.
