Give them their grenades back. There are three reasons why this makes sense.
1. They are facing mobs of zombies. Grenades are area-affect, crowd control type weapons. Makes sense that they would have them 2. The Marines do the grenade motion all the time. its built into their AI, and they often waste time trying to throw nonexistant grenades. Giving em grenades would fix this problem 3. Giving them grenades would stop the zombie camping Often times, zombies gang up on a Marine and kill him, stopping his ability to respawn. if you gave them grenades, they could thin out the mobs of zombies so spawn camping wouldn't be so much of a problem. Hope you agree, and any other ideas would be welcome ~Outlaw |

if they "thinned out" the mob of zombies that means less kills for you which means less experience.Also it would be alot easier if they had grenades, in my opinion i like them without nades -------------------- ![]() |

How can you play it smart when 5 playerzombies are camping and normal zombies are raping everything what moves.

Gd idea, the dev team was thinking of implementing explosives... i think it would be better for the rines to have them. Also i got infected 16 times on carnage rofl. I don't normaly get infected once ....
![]() -------------------- This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

I think it's a cool idea, but it does have some flaws, like making things too easy. I don't think the marines should get it for that reason. Though maybe you could have some type of rare explosive (like a, oh I don't know..... gernade) with a very very slow respawn. That way you would have a chance every *great* so often to clear out a billion zombies that are keeping players from an area.
I remember being pinned on top of the car out with low ammo in BB_Carnage while half the zombies in the map totally infected everyone at the respawn point. Then the infected playes came to screw me over while I fired the few shots I had left at them, just so we all could respawn into the same problem. That could have been prevented. If you do add some kinda massive damage explosive, make it more like a prize you cherish and hold onto untill it's absolutely needed. Not just another weapon to make life easy. I think that's a pretty good balance there. |

Note players wont have the grenades, only the Marines will
Just make them regular old Half Life grenades, they aren't overpowered, and it would stop the Marines from doing a now-useless throw grenade motion (by turning into an effective throw grenade motion ![]() |

Recrofne, a flamethrower would have done the job just as well as an explosive there.
Explosives are comming for the players, I see no reason why Marines need them, though the grenade throwing animation should be cut out. Marines are NOT expected to hold an area against an overwhelming swarm. -------------------- BB Maps I've made...

People know that, I even put them in stronghold. But they are not 'offically' in, those grenades are leftovers from the mod Public Enemy, hence why they can't kill a zombie even on their maximum setting... -------------------- BB Maps I've made...

a grenade would be good for marines and players
marines = only throw grenade every now and then, so it just kills a few, stil time 2 get exp.! like every minute or sumin :S -------------------- ![]() |

I'm wondering, does anyone give reasons to support their suggestions and opinions anymore?
I stand on my previous points that there is no need for marines to have grenades.... -------------------- BB Maps I've made...
