Hey, i've been palying and hosting a BB server for awhile, and theres two things i have noticed about the game that i would like to see improved.

first:
Bullet Penetration. dont you think that as you riddle the rotting flesh of a blood thirsty zombie with seering led that maybe just maybe your 7.62mm rounds of vengence might slide right through that "fresh" zombie carcase and proced to blister right on through to the partialy rotten rib cage of the pile of maggoty walking flesh behind it??? >smile.gif

second: Modeling; player models look strange, especialy the hand postures lol.

Bullet penetration through zombies? Absolutely not. Anyone with half decent aim can kill zombies more than fast enough, no need to make the mod require absolutely no skill at all to be good at. I don't want a pair of shells from my sawed off clearing an entire mob of 20 zombies in one shot, or a single three round burst from my M16 taking out a half dozen zombies in a hallway.

If anything, add bullet penetration to objects not zombies.

As for the player models, athesics are always last on the list, I'd worry about other things first...

This is what Ive said for the past couple months every time has requested source: BB source is highly unlikely because the mod team (Ironoak) has decided to use the crystal engine to create an rpg, although they have said there is a small chance of going to source but please, for the sake of all mankind, do not request a port and/or create polls, or even useless threads about the porting of BB, because it is most likely not going to happen, thank you for reading.

Agreed on the playermodels. But it's rather the playeranimations that make them look so strange. I did them because we couldn't find any animatior back in the PE times, and they were myfirst animations. Sorry for that tongue.gif redoing them and reassigning the playermodels would be a huge pile of work and will propably not happen, I'm sorry for that. I hope you can overlook those flaws smile.gif

The animations are overlookable.
As for penetration, it just wouldn't fare well in Brain Bread. As Immoral said, object penetration, understandable, zombie penetration, undesirable.

guns do have recoil. Especially the AK and minigun.

HMmmm, maybe i should have been more forth comming with my original post. i feel that Brain Bread has enormus potential, its a very fun game as is. BUT i feel its indanger of becomming like COUNTER-CRAP (thats counter-strike for people who still might cling to that pos game) all you do is run back and forth making headshots on everything that moves, and thus the game becomes borring. its either two berreta rounds to the head, or 50 to the body, catch my drift? and yes yes yes they are zombies and should be hard to kill, but they should be hard either BOTH ways ie: head and body damage or easy both ways. other wise you set players up to play the game the same way every single time. and it just becomes boring, and as for the bullet penetration i figuered it would be dependant on ammo type and gun power: say shotguns would NOT penetrate where as the m16 migh penetrate 1 zombie but lose have its damage potential. as i totaly agree with not wanting to make it to easy. any way, give feedback. and smoke some pot lol blubbern.gif

Because making an easy kill to the body would cause the game to be easy without compare and making a hard kill to the head takes any signifigance of locational damage. That is why it is easier to put a zombie down with head shots than body shots.

BB does not have bullet types, therefore amount of penetration would default to damage done, overpowering weapons and causing the game to become too easy.

Also, please space suggestions out, it is rather annoying and difficult to read when it is a solid lump of text.
